NLB Activities - Acrylic Painting for Children

Do you know that National Library Board (NLB) has activities for young children and even adults? Some programmes required registration so all you have to do is to register via GoLibrary at NLB site or simply go to the kiosk available in the library. These progammes are available at minimum fee of as low as $2.00 or even FREE!!

While browsingthe programmes in August, I came across this free event 'Acrylic Painting for Children' at Bukit Panjang Public Library and thought Piggy might be interested to attend.

The response for this 2 hours event is pretty good. Therefore, the parents are advised to leave the activity room due to lack of space.

During the wait outside, I heard quite a bit of commotion. I bet the kids are enjoying! :)

Preparation before start of event.

 Materials for this event.

One last photo before the staff closes the door!

I think Mr Wee had asked the kids what they would like to draw and paint. And they can browse the library books for ideas and choices. So out came Piggy telling me that he was trying to find a book of animals to draw and paint. I am not sure if he did find the book he wants because he was in the hurry to head back to the Activities Room.

Towards the last 10mins of the event, the door was opened and I saw the kids were so busy with their masterpieces.

Guess what? Piggy was so engrossed with his final touch on his masterpiece that he didn't even noticed that I was just standing behind him.

** UPDATES **
Piggy was full of smiles and he saw me. Obviously, he enjoyed this event and was happy with his masterpiece.

Here's Mr Wee, Piggy and his masterpiece!
