What goes BUZZ when touched?

Do you remember playing this? I remember playing this when I was younger.

The circuit is not too big but good enough to make me and Piggy feeling excited.

The kit comes with an instruction guide, the accessories and a few more as spares.

You will need to cut a length from the wire provided to make this wand. Remember to leave a gap on the wand so that you can insert it into the wire maze.

We completed the circuit in about 15mins!

We both had fun trying to complete without making any buzz sound!

If you feel up to it, go ahead and twist more curves for more challenges and excitement!

Incase you are interested to get this kit, I got this from OG for $14.90 (before 20% discount). There are other kits available too!

NLB Activities - Acrylic Painting for Children

Do you know that National Library Board (NLB) has activities for young children and even adults? Some programmes required registration so all you have to do is to register via GoLibrary at NLB site or simply go to the kiosk available in the library. These progammes are available at minimum fee of as low as $2.00 or even FREE!!

While browsingthe programmes in August, I came across this free event 'Acrylic Painting for Children' at Bukit Panjang Public Library and thought Piggy might be interested to attend.

The response for this 2 hours event is pretty good. Therefore, the parents are advised to leave the activity room due to lack of space.

During the wait outside, I heard quite a bit of commotion. I bet the kids are enjoying! :)

Preparation before start of event.

 Materials for this event.

One last photo before the staff closes the door!

I think Mr Wee had asked the kids what they would like to draw and paint. And they can browse the library books for ideas and choices. So out came Piggy telling me that he was trying to find a book of animals to draw and paint. I am not sure if he did find the book he wants because he was in the hurry to head back to the Activities Room.

Towards the last 10mins of the event, the door was opened and I saw the kids were so busy with their masterpieces.

Guess what? Piggy was so engrossed with his final touch on his masterpiece that he didn't even noticed that I was just standing behind him.

** UPDATES **
Piggy was full of smiles and he saw me. Obviously, he enjoyed this event and was happy with his masterpiece.

Here's Mr Wee, Piggy and his masterpiece!

Present for my Birthday + Anniversary

Woohoo! Note 3 has arrived and I am lovin the camera!

Of course I have to have better handphone camera since I snapping photos daily. Used to owe iPhone which I felt so poop comfortable using. It's quite easy to use iPhone. Whereas for Samsung, I had to take some time to get used.

The pros that initially appeal to me was the BIG screen! Lol... Good for watching movies and of course the camera comparing to iPhone.

Healthy eating

Since I started my dieting journey on 16th September, I try to be cautious with my calories intake. When I need to have my meals outside, it gets kinda tricky and of course, there are so many temptations!

Fast food can also eat healthy since they have salad on their menu. Errrr... I tried my best but I am not one that can eat salad without dressing. Otherwise I think it will definitely be more healthier.

So tonight's dinner at Burger King was this salad set.

I prefers the salad from Carl Junior. Not sure if they are bigger serving but I prefer the selection for their salad :P

Start of his music 'adventure'

Finally, it's his first lesson of piano after postponing for 2 weeks. Could have start earlier (probably 1 month ago) but the piano class by the RC didn't really work out for us.

So I decided to go for OSSIA due to 2 reasons:
1) Confirm lesson slot available (Need 4 to start the class at RC but after waiting close to a month, they still can't find 4 confirmed students. So reduced to 2 students but the other parent didn't pay up)
2) Lesson slot available in the noon. So we can still have lunch after school with some rest time before class. (RC only opens in the evening so the class starts at 7.30pm)

Here is Piggy getting excited but errr... he kinda freaked out at the last few minutes.  His hands were slightly cold. He was pretty concern if the teacher is fierce. Luckily the staff said his teacher is very friendly. The next good thing was his teacher was at the counter and he said she looks like his teacher at Mindstretcher and don't look fierce. Only then, he don't feel that bad.

Everything was well when he walked in for his lesson. I sneaked to check and he's doing great! So it was expected when he came out with a smiling face! He told me he enjoyed and looking forward to next lesson. To the extent of asking if tomorrow got class. Lol

On our way home, he even described his teacher as 'not as fierce as a wild boar... gentle as a puppy'! What a way to describe his teacher!

Water Bomb Fun

Have you play water bomb when younger?

Months ago, I bought a pack of water bomb balloons from Daiso. These balloons are much smaller than the regular balloons. They are easily burst which I think it's probably due to the water weight impact when thrown.

Anyway, it's was a last minute suggestion made to Piggy if he's keen to play. Of course he is! So I filled up some for him to 'bomb'... And the 'bombing' took place right in our toilet! LOL......
